Navy Gold Coast showcases Boston Fusion’s INSIDER

The Navy recently invited Boston Fusion to showcase one of its 2023 Small Business Innovations Research (SBIR) successes, their INSIDER project.

Founded in 2016, the Navy Gold Coast Conference consists of a series of panels, breakout sessions, and booths allowing attendees to learn and collaborate on the nation’s next defense developments.

As this year’s event was themed around “Sharpening Our Nation’s Warfighting Edge Through Small Business Speed, Agility, and Transformational Innovations,” Boston Fusion’s work in artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for national defense challenges gave us a lot to talk about.

At Boston Fusion’s booth, CEO Kendra Moore, along with Robert Ceres and Catherine Godwin, presented information on Inertial Navigation System Inspection and Detection of Evolving Roles (INSIDER).

INSIDER employs machine learning techniques to detect subtle anomalies that can degrade the effectiveness of inertial navigation systems. The innovative technologies developed in INSIDER have wide applicability in the many US weapons systems employing inertial navigation.

The Navy’s recognition of Boston Fusion’s technical achievements highlights our commitment to being a preferred provider of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that fundamentally change the way national defense decisions are made.
