Research Programmer Internship
As a Research Programmer Intern at Boson Fusion, you will directly interact with both peer and senior members of the technical and scientific staff to achieve program and project goals.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Application of best-of-practice tools, languages, and techniques to scientific/research software development; design, engineering, and evaluation of alternative algorithmic approaches
- Development and support for automated and semi-automatic test-execution, reporting, and evaluation frameworks
- Participate in building engineering development and support to include source control and continuous integration
- While level of proficiency may vary, interns should expect to create and maintain code in C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, and R
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, are essential tot he successful execution of tasks
