Day to Day Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and monitor the office security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with our Government security requirements, including those designated in:
- National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM),
- Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) security requirements;
- Relevant cyber security requirements; and
- Corporate security
- Provide guidance and instructions to all employees regarding security questions and support a security culture to prevent events, circumstances, and acts that could breach security and to immediately report any security breaches
- Establish, maintain, and conduct security trainings, briefings, and debriefings
- Assure proper marking, safeguarding, and transmission of all classified materials
- Manage the Access Control System
- Administer Boston Fusion’s Defense Information System for Security (DISS) activity including processing clearances and visit requests
- Maintain all records in compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
- Serve as primary contact for DSCA reviews and correspondence, including reporting any updates involving the company’s facility clearance (FCL), security incidents, etc., as required by the NISPOM
- Maintain a working relationship with all contract security offices and access to systems of record to ensure proper paperwork and clearances are maintained
- Primary coordination point for the build-out and maintenance of our unclassified, controlled but unclassified, and classified information system infrastructure
- Support ISSM with CMMC compliance
Required Education and Experience
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD Top Secret security clearance (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s (with 5+ years of experience) in relevant security and system administration professional positions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
